Workforce Developer | Mentorship Programming
Current•Developed work plan for city-wide, summer youth employment initiative, resulting in 5000+ employed youth to date•Collaborates with school districts, local businesses, corporations, and city government managers to ensure goals, performance, and program outcomes align with all grant-related requests •Orchestrate annual employment program agreement processes to ensure worksites accountability to implement and monitor workforce development training•Spearheaded the installation of youth workforce development systems including the creation of policy and procedure manuals and instructional material•Organize and manage employment fairs and specialized employment recruitments resulting youth employment and establishing San José Works program clientele San José Works Youth Mentorship Program •Redesigned a comprehensive mentorship curriculum with a focus on interpersonal skill development, best practices in the workforce, and professional engagement •Supervise 75+ mentors and mentees utilizing mentorship curriculum, which includes a 10-week syllabus of goals, outcomes, and activities•Coordinate and oversee communication between mentors, mentees, and assisting volunteers
