As a key member of the product team, I manage the visual design team at Slacker. This team is responsible for product visual design, brand identity, and marketing design. My primary responsibilities on the product group include product ideation, ensuring that all visual design promotes our brand values, and working closely with our User Experience team to.

I designed and built much of the HTML, CSS, and front-end JavaScript code on the Slacker Web Application. I also architected the MVVM UI binding framework using knockout.js, reducing load times by a whopping 70%, as well as many other resume-improving stats.Within a team of brilliant javascript engineers, my role was to focus on the UX, HTML quality, CSS.

Truckee, CA

I worked with a team of ColdFusion & Java developers to support the company’s intranet and public Web applications. I wrote both server-side and front-end code and use PL/SQL to interact with a large Oracle 9i database. My focus, however, was on improving the speed and usability of our large web application by creating many UX and visual design.

Dayton, Ohio Area

As a founding partner at FORGE, I was forced to learn about business the hard way. My duties included setting company direction, internal operation and efficiency goals, strategic partnerships, public-speaking and presentation. I managed day-to-day operations of the company, including strategic planning, budget planning, and staffing. I wrote proposals.

This time was spent working with my future FORGE partners. We build a few websites and web apps, had a few beers, and learned to pick out furniture.

As lead interactive developer, I worked on many different interactive projects while at Real Art. While focused mainly on web programming, I performed server design and maintenance, database design and some design and layout. I also helped grow our development team as the company grew into larger projects such as eCommerce and other dynamic, content driven.

Deployed SharePoint portal server as for internal document sharing. Created patient dashboard for executive team to manage staffing levels using PHP, ColdFusion & Oracle 9i. Created LAMP environment for internal application development. Performed system integration of Hospital Information System (HIS) with rapid deployment of modern systems using an HL7.
