As a teaching assistant at Actualize Coding Bootcamp, I support new learners in acquiring the skills and knowledge to become full-stack web developers. I assist instructors in delivering lectures, facilitating workshops, and providing feedback and guidance to students. I also troubleshoot technical issues and debug code using CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails.Prior to joining Actualize, I worked as a senior financial aid advisor at Career Education Corporation, where I helped students secure funding for their college education. I applied internal and federal policies and regulations, performed calculations, and communicated options to students. I was consistently rated in the top 10% of all advisors and led training presentations on various funding sources. I also participated in the Grad Team Ambassador Group, which improved cross-departmental collaboration and student experience.I have a certificate in full-stack web development from Actualize and a degree in health care administration from Southern Illinois University. I'm passionate about data analytics and learning new technologies. I enjoy playing volleyball, camping, and watching sports in my spare time.
