As a leave and accommodations subject matter expert for the Leaves and Accommodation (L&A) department; My responsibilities include but are not limited to creating L&A tools and resources; leading process improvement initiatives; driving L&A staff training and development; providing guidance on case administration; performing case management quality reviews; reviewing and accessing case trends; and providing case management as needed basis for highly complex cases.

▪ Analyze, approve, and authorize assigned complex claims and determine benefits due pursuant to a disability plan▪ Determine benefits due, make timely claim payments/approvals and adjustments for workers compensation, Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), and other disability offsets▪ Communicate clearly with claimant and client on all aspects of claims process either by phone and/or written correspondence▪ Inform claimants of documentation required to process claims, required time frames, payment information and claims status either by phone, written correspondence and/or claims system▪ Maintain professional client relationships▪ Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, including monitoring client
