Project PRODOPS (ST Microelectronics) at Greater Noida.Roles and responsibilities:• As a Senior Team Member, reporting to and interacting with multiple international clients along with managing the shared resource team via the web, email and phone.• Providing Backup and Restoration Strategy Restore/Refresh of servers/VGs using Net Backup or TSM.• Troubleshoot various problems with LIVE production Linux servers & fixing day today issues Via Dev-Ops Support (Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, Azure, Talend and Shell scripting, etc.).• Providing & assigning access permissions based on the level of access the user would need. • Installing & Configuring mail server, NFS, FTP, YUM, SAMBA, NTP, APACHE (HTTP) servers.• Managing Disk problems (Mounting issues and space issues or LVM, XFS, ZFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, NAS (NFS, SAMBA).• Installation & configuration of Virtual machines (VM’s).• Writing Bash Shell Scripting to automate some jobs and Cron jobs to automate daily tasks.• Configuring and maintaining different Users accounts and Maintaining file sharing services (Samba, FTP & NFS).• Monitoring of system logs, http logs, Mysql logs, messages and other system logs to troubleshoot the system issues.• Planning and execution of OS kernel patching and VCS cluster switching of machines.• Supporting critical (P1 & P2) incidents, providing technical RCA, resolve escalated problems in the area of installation, upgrade and maintenance and BAU, creating POCs and SOPs.• Commissioning/Decommissioning of physical/virtual servers and setup/configure instances as per customer requirements• Scheduling and managing scripts using IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (Maestro).• Working on the Hermes tool for smooth flow of files.
