My position means that I’m responsible for real-time service management over the Monzo customer operations team. Overseeing more than fifteen different domains within the business, I ensure that regulatory and internal deadlines are met by dynamically adapting the schedule that people work to.I’m also there to help the team of over 1000 customer service representatives. I work with them to ensure customers are receiving the best service possible whilst maintaining team morale. This means I have an extensive knowledge of the UK banking system, as well as skills in adapting to the fast paced environment that comes with working at a fintech bank in today’s climate.

Whilst studying, I worked on my university’s IT Service Desk. My role involved me taking calls, live chats, remote support sessions and logged tickets from staff and students across the University. Following the ITIL Framework, efficiency never came at the cost of a friendly voice on the end of the phone to get the customer back up and running again!

Worked through the 4 stages:- CyberStart Assess- CyberStart Game- CyberStart Essentials- CyberStart Eliteand ultimately gained a massive passion for cyber security. From just the first two stages, I decided I was going to go to Kingston University to study cyber security and from there, I’ve ended up in Monzo’s SOC.
