Customer Experience Coordinator
I currently wear many hats at Crux and my position covers many aspects of the overall customer experience from initial greeting, proper use of the gym, skill progression, safety and overall enjoyment. I run shifts at the front desk making sure that the everyday operations of the gym run smoothly, I teach Top Rope/Lead climbing classes in which customers learn the necessary skills to lower the risk of injury while rope climbing and prevent the climber from falling to the ground, I work with customers in private lessons to advance their skills in any area they wish whether it be technique, strength, planning or safety skills and lastly I am a part of the Route Setting crew in charge of taking down and putting up new/creative routes that challenge our guests, teach them new movement and provide a safe and enjoyable climbing experience.
Manager - Route Setting & Instruction
I started climbing in an effort to train my upper body strength in order to compete on American Ninja Warrior. Within a very short period of time I fell madly in love with the sport and completely forgot about the competition. After a period of time I decided to make the jump into the climbing industry and started working the front desk at Austin Rock Gym.Over time I progressed into coaching and route setting before eventually managing the coaching staff and becoming the Head Route Setter over my last year at ARG.
Customer Service Technician
My duties at Konflict included fielding incoming customer calls, mechanical work on off-road motorcycles, managing the shipping/receiving department and providing race support during the Sonora Rally throughout central Mexico.
Commercial Insurance - Sales Development And Retention
At Allen Insurance I was in charge of managing current accounts and building a book of business in the commercial trucking industry with supporting accounts at commercial gyms and private auto insurance. On a daily basis I called on new business prospects to establish a relationship and build an insurance policy that fit their needs and budget. Once we came to terms with the policy that best fit I would get all paperwork filled out and sent to the customer for their records. During the customer's 6 month or 1 year policy term it would be my job to keep in regular contact to make sure that no adjustments needed to be made to the policy in order to allow the customer to operate continually without any lapse in coverage. When the term was over I would prepare their new quote in order to retain their business for the next 6 month or 1 year term.
Sales Lead
During my time at Fiat and Alfa Romeo I was able to learn a vast amount of information about two very fun brands of cars and their storied pasts throughout the years. The passion that you could see and feel that went into the styling and performance of both brands was a big part of what I enjoyed most about selling cars. The common opinion of a car salesman is that they are pushy or salesy. I wanted to make sure that I set myself apart from what was expected of an industry stuck in it's old ways. I feel that my love of cars was visible to customers when helping them learn about their options and how the different models matched with their needs. This thought process helped me achieve the top sales spot for Fiat within a four state radius as well as top 50 in the nation. When the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio was released I was able to reach the #1 sales position for that model nationally.
