I represented Naval Reactors in over $22B of COLUMBIA-Class submarine construction contracts, including responsibilities in contract negotiation, contract administration, and cost estimating for nuclear propulsion work

I represented Naval Reactors in over $31B of FORD-Class aircraft carrier construction contracts, including responsibilities in contract negotiation, contract administration, and cost estimating for nuclear propulsion work.I was instrumental in negotiating over $900M of contracts and incentives to support delivery of aircraft carriers with the required repair parts and combat/propulsion capabilities.Successes include: Negotiation of the $300M CVN 79 Single Phase contract modification, which will allow for delivery of the vessel with a complete warfare system and F-35 strike fighter capability. Negotiation of the $37M Dry Dock 12 CAPEX incentive, which will allow for on-time construction of CVN 81. Negotiation of the $393M CVN 79 Whole Ship Delivery contract modification to increase vessel readiness at delivery.

I managed a $2-6M annual budget to purchase requisite parts, consumable supplies, and sustenance for an operational US submarine. During my time on ALBANY, I issued thousands of requisitions, expedited over 200 operationally critical repair parts, and transformed a failing HAZMAT management program into one of the best in the squadron.Successes include: The completion of the first US submarine deployment during the COVID-19 pandemic, including several missions and international exercises, despite the severe constraints placed on international logistics and port husbandry.
