-Created and developed Homeroom, a 501(c)(3) artist and performance network -Supervises a staff of 20 people while acting as Chief Liaison for various events -Creates ongoing networking relationships among local venues and arts organizations to establish local presence-Develops and evaluates performance programming including commissioned classical and jazz concerts, a regular songwriter showcase, a regular lecture series, visual arts exhibitions and film/multi-media events -Develops and runs an arts mentoring program that pairs high school art students with working artists in Chicago-Coordinates all operational functions of the organization which includes overseeing the Board of Directors, supervises volunteers, and coordinates officers within the organization-Organizes finances and develops written business plans, proposals, and budgets-Organizes fundraising drives and events; maintains relationships with donors – raised $25,000 from individual donors since August 2008-Markets organization by managing social media and maintaining website, while also supervising and coordinating visual promotions for individual events-Writes and researches grant opportunities for the organization – received $2,000 for classical music concert-Has a working relationship with many prominent Chicago musicians, composers, visual artists, film makers, writers, curators and venue operators
