Preaching, teaching, leading a semi organized revolt against the kingdoms of this world. You know, the normal things pastors do.

This was part of a transition into the senior pastorate. As such, I took on the responsibilities of the senior pastor fairly early into my job, and was able to grow under the relaxed oversight of the retiring senior pastor.

I worked at a homeless shelter for families in North Hollywood, serving in a variety of aspects. This gave me the ability to utilize a variety of gifts, from peacemaking to preaching, leading worship to cleaning toilets. I was blessed to be part of this ministry, and I am excited to see how God is using this to equip me for what is next.

Taught in a classroom environment to 20-25 students, always on short notice, and provided excellent teaching and classroom control.

Preach, teach classes, counsel, disciple, and perform the many duties of the pastorate.Provide pastoral care to the many elderly and widowed members of the congregation.Hone my skills and gifts as a communicator and leader.Led worship on guitar while the church was without a worship leader.Grew the children's program to their largest point in ten years.Organized and ran a community wide worship service with the ministerial alliance and the majority of the churches in town. This, for many, was the highlight of the year.

Provided high quality graphic design and printing for my clientele. We gave a significant discount on our printing while providing single-source accountability and top-flight customer service.

Discipled a mid-sized (30-40) group of 7th-12 grade teens.Led contemporary worship on Sunday mornings.Taught Sunday and weekday activities. On average, taught four times a week.Organized and led a week-long mission trip to City Union Mission

Led a contemporary worship service at a mid-sized Christian Church. (Disciples of Christ)Worked with the current worship leader to provide a unified worship experience.Collaborated with the praise team in writing music, and increased the creative involvement of the praise team.
