I Began Working For QSS as A Subcontractor in 2008. I Was Bidding With The Company and Was Awarded a Few Smaller Projects During That Year. NSCC Was a Smaller Company As Was QSS. As the Relationship Was Established Between Companies, I was offered a Superintendent Position and Accepted Late 2008. I Was Performing Superintendent Duties While Also Performing Subcontractor Work Simultaneously. I Was Responsible For Scheduling Manpower and Materials to the Site, Relaying RFI's and Possible PCO's to the PM, Conducting Walkthroughs on the Site and Keeping the Owner Informed On the Daily Progress. I Successfully Completed Many Projects Over The Next Few Years. I Began Estimating and Bidding in Between My Projects. I Won Several Projects That I Bid including the Largest Lump Sum Contract QSS Has Received To Date. In 2011 I Compiled the Bid Estimate and Was Responsible For The Ross and Lucas Project Award, I Also Superintended The Project and Ultimately Finished and Closed Out The Project As the Project Manager.I Was Offered the Position Of Project Manager and Accepted. As the Project Manager I was Responsible For Bidding & Estimating Projects, Assembling the Proposal And Negotiating the Final Price With the Owners or the Appointed Representative. I Then Would Conduct Buyouts, Generate the Subcontractor Scope of Work and Issue the Contracts. I Also Received, Reviewed And Issued Submittals, RFI's And Project Schedules.I Successfully Performed all the PM Duties Listed Above for 9 Projects Over a Span of 3 years. These Projects Ranged in Value From $380,000.00 up to 2.7 Million. Several Smaller Projects were also Awarded During this Timeframe Ranging from $3,500.00 up to $67,000.00. During This Three Year Period My Projects Generated Company Profits Exceeding Six Million Dollars.During the 8 Years of Employment at QSS, They Grew From Roughly 2-4 Million a Year in Total Revenue to Roughly 12-15 Million Upon My Departure.

Commercial Projects Often Contain Specialty Materials that are Typically Provided by The Owner or Client and Installed By The Contractor. While Working with Several General Contractors in the NOVA, MD & DC Area, NSCC has Successfully Provided the Receiving of, Storing, Fabrication and Installation of these Furnished Items and Completed a Wide Array of Projects in Retail Construction, Healthcare Facilities as well as Various State, Local & Federally Managed Entity's. NSCC Still continues to Operate Today With a Valid Class B DPOR License. As the Owner/Operator of NSCC I am Responsible for All Marketing, Estimating of Projects, Negotiating Contracts, the Scheduling of Manpower and Materials for Multiple Projects Running Consecutively As Well As Monitoring Project Costs With Both Accounts Payable and Receivable.I Have Managed Several Projects in the Commercial Realm But I Also Have a vast Knowledge of Residential Construction. NSCC Has Also Completed Several Residential Home Construction Projects. While Specializing in Custom Interior Woodwork such as Cabinetry and Wood Trim, I Have Drafted House Plans to Customize Simple Box Construction to Accommodate the Owners Specific Requests. Whether it is a Ground Up Project, or a Simple Remodel I have Managed and Performed All Phases of Residential Construction. While I Personally Specialize in All Fine Interior Wood Work, I Have Performed Larger and More Complicated Residential Projects as The General Contractor. This Work Required Customer Relations, Permitting, Budgeting and Scheduling.I Have Performed Projects Ranging in Cost from $100.00 up to $120,000.00 Per Contract. Over the Last 15 Years I have Developed Contacts With Many Contractors and Subcontractors Alike. Since the Inception of NSCC, No Claims, Liens Nor Judgements of Any Kind Have Been Filed.
