Materials scientist and engineer with laboratory experience in sample preparation, material and processing identification, mechanical testing and characterization, failure analysis, microscopy, and nanoparticle synthesis. I work as a technical resource for the Sales group, as well as a point of contact for companies in industries such as aerospace, defense, and additive manufacturing. I assist customers with quotes involving mechanical testing, chemistry, and metallography and provide project status updates.I previously worked as a Product Metallurgical Engineer in the Automotive Group at Arconic Lancaster. I worked closely with the manufacturing facility and automotive customers to ensure the aluminum sheet products met both internal and customer specifications and quality standards. I worked as the direct link between the facility and the customers for any technical issues. My work utilized knowledge in metallurgy, manufacturing, and quality to deliver the proper material on time.I earned a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania where I conducted research on the synthesis and applications of gold nanorods. I am a graduate of Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering and a minor in Nanotechnology. I am a hardworking individual and I am always determined to put forward my best effort. I enjoy working in groups and collaborating with others, but can get the job done on my own. I take pride in my work, and therefore take responsibility for it.My objective is to take on roles in which I can use my organizational skills, creativity, and experience to collaborate and work productively on projects related to materials science and engineering.
