Aaron Petersen Email and Phone Number
I am an award-winning, passionate professional writer with a four-year background in journalism and communications. My love for writing and storytelling led me to pursue a Professional Writing degree at Grand Valley State University to find a career in Technical Writing. My proficiency in writing, communication skills, journalism, and leadership has given me the tremendous opportunity to climb the positional ladder at nearly every stop along my professional path. At the end of 2020, I joined The Bay Window, the Muskegon Community College student publication, to further hone those skills. With the help of the publication, I grew into a more diverse writer, individual, and communicative professional, ultimately leading to my hiring with The Grand Haven Tribune as a Freelance Journalist and attaining my Associate's Degree in Communications soon after. Throughout my tenure for The Bay Window, I received multiple awards from the Michigan Community College Press Association for my writing, editorial skills, and strict adherence to AP Style. In my time at Grand Valley State, I have become well-versed in rhetoric, technical instruction, and document design principles in Adobe InDesign amongst other design software. As I look towards this new and exciting chapter of my professional life, I want to become your next contributor and further develop my skills to aid your company's ongoing success. If you want to discuss potential career opportunities, please don't hesitate to use the information I've included in my description. I hope to hear from you soon!
