As a seasoned AFP Operator with over nine years of experience in the aerospace industry, I am passionate about advancing technology and contributing to the production of high-quality composite parts. My career has been driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, which has allowed me to make significant contributions to every organization I've worked with.Currently, I am an AFP Operator at Firefly Aerospace, where I have developed processes for MLV production and worked closely with engineering teams to build composite parts.Previously, at Albany Engineered Composites, I was integral to the production of F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, introducing best practices and training a team of new operators. My experience includes running initial diagnostics on CH-53K tools and ensuring quality control for all parts produced on my shift.At Northrop Grumman, I gained extensive experience in running wings and nacelles for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, performing equipment repairs, and conducting forklift operations. My expertise in handling BMI and Epoxy slit tapes further enhances my technical proficiency.Starting my career at the Packaging Corporation of America, I managed the production of over 60 million corrugated fiberboard boxes annually and operated multiple die-cutting machines, leading a team to ensure customer specifications were met.My skills include AFP operations, tool diagnostics and repair, team training and leadership, quality control, process development, and hand lay-up techniques.
