- Created a parachute stage separator with 2 team members. I was responsible for designing it in SolidWorks and analyzing the design by using Ansys Workbench's finite element analysis to find areas where we could reduce the material thickness in order to save weight and ultimately achieve a higher apogee.
- Performing Reliability Numerical Analysis (RNA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on the Power and Propulsion Element of NASA's Lunar Gateway to verify the safety of critical subsystems.
- Lead a team in creating and using a test stand for analyzing nozzle geometries of cold gas thrusters to be flown on a CubeSat.
- Designed and tested, with one other person, a pulsed plasma thruster and Langmuir probe in a vacuum chamber to measure how the plasma properties changed with varying air pressure.
