Aspiration to be part of a value system that aims to minimize the environmental damage of human existence, got me back to academics after 16 years. While pursuing a second Masters degree in Public Policy and Sustainable Development from TERI SAS, New Delhi, I got associated with Saahas - a terrific NGO working towards sustainable solid waste management in urban and rural India. Working in development sector is a natural progression for me as I have been involved in a few voluntary initiatives over the last 5 years. At Saahas, I am assimilating case studies and best practices for capacity building and on ground implementation of Circular Economy principles. Previously, I worked as an International business professional for 10+ years, managing procurement, third country trading and handing end-to-end business operations for commodities; which gave me the exposure of conducting business in 5 countries.
