Hey There!My name is Abby. I am from Gunnison Utah. I graduated from Gunnison Valley High school in 2019 and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Applied Business Management at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Farming and being around animals is my passion. Given my experience of over 12 years in the industry of not only farming, but also Dairy farming, I have developed a wide set of skills and accomplishments within the job. I have numerous certificates and licenses to back that, which includes a CDL class A drivers license. Many hours have been accumulated in a semi truck alongside many tractors as well. Most recently I have worked for the company as a herdman on the dairy side of things. This opportunity has allowed me to work closely with a well trained herdman who has shown me the ropes. This opportunity has provided me with the opportunity to gain many new skills including; artificially inseminating cows, feeding, treatment of sick animals, managing the milking parlor and workers, computer record keeping skills and additional equipment operating skills. I am a simple person and easy to get along with. I like to be respected in which I will also show respect to everyone no matter the situation. It is important to me to be a kind, good-hearted human being, which is what I strive to do in the workplace as well even if it is not always reciprocated.
