As an experienced multidisciplinary professional in Electrical Power Systems and Renewable Energy, I lead cutting-edge research and project management at the intersection of industry, academia and international collaboration. With a PhD in Wind Power Plant System Services from the Technical University of Denmark and Masters in Electrical Power Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology Sweden, my expertise spans power system modelling, renewable energy integration, and advanced grid operations.Currently serving as Manager of R&D at the National Power Control Centre (NPCC), Power System Operator of Pakistan, I drive innovation in dynamic simulation modelling, submitted first operating reserve policy, and developed VRE & Load forecasting programs, ensuring secure and efficient power system operations in Pakistan. My work includes developing dynamic power system model for frequency control studies in DigSilent Power Factory, EMT model in PSCAD, leading system operation collaboration with partners like NREL USA, DETI Denmark and RTEi, promoting advancements in grid modernization, secure power system operations, and renewable energy integration.Previously, I contributed significantly to academia as an Assistant Professor and Academic Program Developer at the USPCAS-E, UET Peshawar, where I launched MS & PhD programs, research initiatives focusing on ingenious problems, developed state of art power system lab, supervised PhD and MS students, and forged strong industry-academia linkages.My global collaborations and leadership in power system research, combined with my focus on renewable integration and Artificial Intelligence, reflect a career committed to driving sustainable energy solutions and advancing power systems for a resilient future.
