Operations Support Engineer
- 24x7x365 monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting and incident management of data centers andremote offices, information security hardware/Software, network infrastructure, IT platforms andsoftware applications.- Assist networks team in implementing, repairing and troubleshooting networks.- SME for Solarwinds, responsible for maintaining server environment including patching andupgrades. Created dashboards and alerting for various teams, setup a lot of customized monitoring,setup custom universal pollers to gather data from devices not supported by out of box solutions bySolarwinds. Worked with various models of Solarwinds including: NPM, SAM, NCM, WPM NTA andVNQM.- Created reports on uptime, bandwidth usage and other key metrics.- Monitoring automated end user incident, troubleshoot and resolve problems with ticketing software –ServiceNow.- Monitor server infrastructure with other tools such as SCOM, AppD and VMware NSX tools.- Collaborate with network engineers, fields technicians, equipment vendors and telecom carriers toeffectively troubleshoot and resolve various types of issues and outages.- Provide base level IT support to non-technical personal with the business and direct customersupport when required.
