MSc Petroleum Engineering (Heriot Watt- Dubai Campus) & BE Mechanical Engineering (VNSGU- Gujarat India) with 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry in various types of Drilling & Workover Rigs which include deep water jack-up rigs, water depth ranging from 80m-100m & land rigs, in India & UAE. Currently, I am working in S&L Consulting as an Applications Engineer. Previously I worked in Tendeka, where I am responsible for the lower/open hole completions. I conduct analysis regarding reservoir optimization, using ICD, Swellable Packers for wellbore segmentation & Filtrex system (sand control). I am also responsible for safe & efficient installation of this lower completion which increases, optimizes & improves the reservoir output. I advise/install, Swell Packers/ICD completions on field/rig for clients across middle east & also discuss the application of these tools for reservoir optimization. Witnessing drift runs, preparing running tally as per the planned depths of swell packers, supervising assembly handling & make-ups, assisting rig crew for installation of the hydraulically set top packer are part of my job on drill site. Previously I worked as Field Service Engineer in Vallourec where I was responsible for the integrity of the client’s well & was also conducting analysis of the premium connection make-ups, also I was responsible for verification & proper calibration of TMDE (Testing, Measuring & Detection Equipment’s) used for the job. I also performed, Tubular inspection & supervision of makeups to ensure well integrity. QA/QC control, verification of proper calibration of TMDE (Testing, Measuring & Detection Equipment’s). Ensuring proper weight, grade, type of tubulars is present on the rig site to avoid any leakage in the completion string, identification of different propriety threads. Ensuring proper handling & make up of CRA tubulars (Corrosion Resistant Tubulars). Before that I worked in Weatherford International where I was responsible for Operation, Maintenance, troubleshooting and providing technical support for Overdrive systems and Rig Mechanized equipment to make up & lower the different sizes of casing & tubing & thus ensuring that the borehole is isolated from the formation for further operational needs which are utilized for running different types of completions like upper completion (cased hole completion), lower completion (open hole completions) & smart completions (involving swellable packers & interval control valves).
