First and foremost, I love to code. From the days I’ve had access to computers, I had a strong desire to make use of its potential and command them to do things I want them to do. Over the years, I have picked up the computer’s way of thinking and solving some of my day to day problems. Along with that I have also helped some great product-based companies build extensively scalable platforms using cutting edge technologies.I’m a full stack developer slightly skewing towards Front-end development – Not that I do not like the back-end stuff, but that I love to make things easy for users and I’ll do everything possible for them to fall in love with the interface!When I look back at the years, I started my career assisting development of a healthcare product and I learnt to focus on Design Patterns and coding standards (ES6). I then moved to a connected IoT ecosystem implementation involving AI/ML tech. The healthcare journey was interesting as I looked in awe of all that the digital technologies could accomplish. It also created a product thought-process and how the application architecture influences factors going up to marketing decisions and product strategies. Today, I am an Associate Technical Architect at Presidio, working on creating Chime based applications.The product mindset has really helped me advance my career – I developed Extreme programming with Agile methodologies and greatly stress how well this tip yields results. I’m a fan of Test-driven development (TDD). I also like to do pair programming – It’s fun and you get a lot of insight in the way others tackle problems. With the skills at hand, I feel that there is an even stronger harpoon that helps me nail down the larger fish – ‘Productivity’. As for me, productivity is by a large proportion, the most important skill – Yes, it has to be developed and I took some time to hone it – And today, that’s the most important feather on my cap!Lately, I’ve been introduced to DevOps tools and the AWS ways of quickly building and launching applications. I’ve done some experiments in my free time and they’re cool! I felt that exploring new areas and getting hands dirty is a very important trait when a software engineer is climbing up the ladder– It helps to decide on the right thing to do from the wide array of possibilities. In my early days, I always focused on doing things right, but now, I see the shift in looking towards doing the right things! This is what keeps up at night, a deep hunger to solve problems and to provide the best possible solutions with the highest quality.
