Pulmonary patients include COPD and are taught how to use inhalers and efficient breathing techniques Internship: Worked side by side with an exercise physiologist for +300 hours, to take blood pressures, adjust workloads, read EKG, lead weight and stretching exercises, and learn patient care

Peer Ministers are undergraduate students who work with the Campus Ministry staff to develop and coordinate opportunities for spiritual development and faith sharing in the Residence Halls. They are selected based on their demonstrated leadership, experience, spiritual maturity, and desire to help their peers grow spiritually. Peer Ministers encourage faith sharing experiences and prayer opportunities for their residents, strengthening of the Residence Hall community through faith sharing groups, programming, and service opportunities, and connecting that community to the larger St. Ambrose University community regardless of religious affiliation.
