Bangladeshi Cyclists or BDCyclists is a Facebook-based non registered unofficial cycling group in Bangladesh. The group was started by Mozammel Haque, a software developer, and his friends in May 2011. The group states, as one of their goals, that they aim to convert 5% of the car owning crowd of Dhaka to cycle commuters.Everyone here in this organization works for one mission and that is reducing carbon emission and saving the nature by promoting cycling. There is no form of monetary exchange in this organization. Here are the responsibilities that I was assigned to handle as a member of BDCyclists.- Ensuring safety of the cyclists- Choosing and leading the cycle rally in weekly rides- Making sure everyone is properly equipped with safety gears.- Choosing routes and updating the route online with members- Managing new recruitments- Social media marketing
