I am working on financial statement and single audits for not-for-profit higher education, healthcare and government clients.

As the graduate assistant, I had the pleasure of working next to the controller of the University. My major responsibilities included bond expenditure budgeting and reimbursements, tracking project budgets and expenditures, extensive work on forecast models, and preparing workpapers at year end to prepare the financial statements. I also assisted in the implementation of a new campus-wide IT system. My main roles in this project were the creation and maintenance of crosswalks from old account numbers to new account numbers for distribution to the campus community and for interfaces from old systems to the new system.

As an audit intern, I worked primarily on not-for-profit and higher education clients. I rolled over audit programs, completed audit testwork, and other various duties, such as summarizing Board of Directors minutes.

As an undergraduate student, I have had the pleasure to work closely with the controller of the university. I prepare schedules and analysis for bond expenditures, capital projects, and endowment funds. I have also updated the forecast model to reflect FY 2007 actuals and created new formats for the fixed assets and depreciation schedules. I am also preparing the presentation formats for the forecast model.

As the co-op for the Strategic Business Group, I am working mainly with Gross-to-Net Analytics and MMA Offer Development. For the Gross-to-Net team, I supported forecasting, actualization, ad hoc analysis, and consolidation for five companies. We worked closely with brand teams and other groups to develop forecasts and perform financial analysis. I have also played a critical part in completing the development of a database to run Gross-to-Net reports.As a member of the MMA Offer Development team, I worked with the account directors, financial analysts, and product directors on MMA contracting strategy. I am primarily responsible for the communication and approval of offers between several business groups.

As a marketing intern, I performed a variety of tasks, supporting the product managers, national trainer, and customer service. I was the project manager for the Demo Model project, which required sourcing and ordering cases and logos, corresponding with the vendors of the model materials, assembling and shipping the models to the sales force, and handling issues and complaints. I also created and maintained spreadsheets for the Demo Model projects and customer service, prepared and distributed training materials, and compiled an electronic photo library for the company.

As the primary teller for the credit union, I was responsible for recording daily member transactions and weekly batch payroll transactions in the Compushare system. I also completed all of the bank and debit/check card clearing reconciliations. As the office assistant, I completed loan documents, maintained files, and performed other office and clerical duties. I enjoyed the daily customer interactions and the feeling of being an integral part of the team since there were only three emplolyees. I worked during summer and winter breaks from summer 2004 - January 2006.
