Early-stage growth executive, 3D imaging pioneer, and inventor, Scott Ackerson, has spent his professional life building successful 3D technology companies. In the process he has led key product developments that have generated more than a half-billion in revenue for his companies and development partners.At Quidient, Scott is leading a team of accomplished scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs, to develop the world’s first Generalized Scene Reconstruction (GSR) platform, called Quidient Reality®. Quidient Reality enables devices like smartphones to reconstruct any object or scene on earth in five dimensions (5D) as easily as snapping a photo or capturing a video. Transformational applications including digital content creation (DCC), automated visual inspection (AVI), and/or augmented reality (AR) will unleash multibillion-dollar markets for Quidient’s development partners.Prior to Quidient, Scott built and sold two companies in the 3D imaging space to NASDAQ/NYSE listed technology companies. Early in his career, Scott served in technical leadership roles at Westinghouse Nuclear and in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force.Scott holds a Master’s degree in the Management of Technology from the business (Wharton) and engineering (Moore) schools of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
