As General Counsel and Chief Intellectual Property Officer, Chris has led the development of a comprehensive IP strategy, positioning the company as a leader and protecting the company's first-mover position in the GSR marketplace. In addition, Chris has helped Quidient successfully close its pre-Growth Round fundraising, standardized and streamlined multiple legal processes, and closed agreements with multiple strategic partners.As Co-Head of U.S. Government Business Development, Chris has been an integral part in Quidient landing more than ten U.S. Government contracts and supported Quidient's Product Development team in successfully executing and delivering on those awards.

Provided business units with timely advice and analysis on all aspects of patent, trademark, technical data rights, and other intellectual property (IP) issues; IP team lead for disputes; co-leader – IP education practice group.• Engage with business and engineering leads for major company growth initiatives to create comprehensive IP strategies, protect key development assets, and minimize risk of infringement;• Assess risk in response to patent infringement demand letters, perform design-around analyses, develop defenses, and evaluate company exposure in multiple technology areas;• Review business group patent portfolios; work with business leads to identify options for leveraging patent assets and optimizing IP protection strategy;• Lead or co-lead in responding to litigation issues;• Draft and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and licensees, including IP licensing, indemnity, and confidentiality provisions of contracts with government and commercial entities; supply chain terms and conditions; stand-alone IP in- and out-licenses; and software and source code licenses; • Provide technical data rights analyses for bids and proposals, and compile evidence in support of limited and restricted rights claims for preexisting IP in anticipation of future challenges; and• Manage due diligence for IP assets and negotiate purchase and sale provisions for corporate transactions.
