As the Membership Program Manager, I assist in the coordination of NORD’s RareLaunch™ program, which develops capacity-building training and resources, and provides support to individuals affected by rare diseases who are striving to start a nonprofit organization for rare disease advocacy, research, and support.

I assist the Director of Membership in engaging members through the development of programs and services, which includes:- disseminating educational information and development opportunities at monthly webinars and in weekly e-newsletters- designing, planning, and executing regional and national conferences for the rare disease community, with a keen focus on patient assistance, drug development, and research- coordinating and overseeing the annual membership renewal process- developing and implementing a minimum of 3 annual scholarship programs awarding over $100,000 total - maintaining data integrity and enabling data-driven decisions and strategy utilizing Salesforce- providing a high level of service to all members through timely communication and empathy

I create, manage, coordinate and implement the overall university recruitment function within the local office:- I am responsible for filling hiring needs and goals based upon business plans in conjunction with local office leadership. - I record data to maintain the accuracy of all information regarding the local office’s university recruiting activities contained in recruit tracking systems (Oracle Taleo, Sterling One) and in Microsoft Excel.- I coordinate and facilitate all logistics associated with hosting on-campus activities at target schools, including scheduling and conducting interviews and arranging information sessions, activities, presentations with key clubs and organizations. In collaboration with campus team ambassadors, I research, recommend and implement engagement and recruitment strategies at select universities. I connect and strategize with university career services to coordinate fall/spring recruiting events and oversee the coordination and delivery of interview activities. I also define and calculate metrics to be able to make data driven decisions within the recruitment department.

I investigated the future of third-party participation with government and private sector entities (“Megacommunities”) as a strategic investment objective for Booz Allen Hamilton: • Collected primary data through an interview process with 25 senior managers in the firm augmented by internet research of the strategies of competitor companies • Synthesized data and presented findings and final conclusions through PowerPoint slides• Results were used by Booz Allen to develop prospective investment alternatives
