I have worked on large-scale transactional database systems for managing content, payment information, and reporting. I manage a team of eight developers off shore who handle day-to-day maintenance and some feature implementations. I am one of five developers who are in charge of migrating the legacy system, written in ColdFusion, into a SASS environment running on a LAMP stack. I have helped create an internal process for project management regarding code standards, prioritization, methodologies, and development timeframes. Key Accomplishments:- Implemented a scalable bulk job import application that allows us to pull in thousands of jobs per night per client.- Technology owner for job search functionality. Helped create a standard for creating a search system using Lucene Solr, which includes the schema models for the applications, query optimization, and server pool builds, either using a replication model or SolrCloud using ZooKepper.Improved poor performing queries in MSSQL to help increase speed of page loads- Created libraries for Single Sign On integrations with large AMS (Association Management Software) systems such as Avectra, Personify and iMIS.- Updated legacy code to meet PCI compliance based on weekly McAfee Safe Scans, including changes for securing cookies, and preventing XSS vulnerability attacks.- Trained and currently oversee a team of off shore developers who handle day-to-day maintenance tasks, which allows the senior developer group to focus on the migration project from ColdFusion to PHP. - Implemented monitoring standards for our off shore 24 hour NOC teams, which has helped us to respond to issues before clients are aware of problems. - Created source control processes for Mercurial, and SVN.
