My work:Proven multifamily investment sales broker & advisor. Specialties include; acquisition, disposition and advisory services for affordable housing (LIHTCs, HAP contracts, GP interests), development land, and 1031 exchanges for multifamily opportunities throughout DC, MD & VA. In a strong market (2021) and in some locations, Affordable housing was (sometimes by far) the highest and best use… and even more so in this current market. I can offer a quick (or comprehensive) yes or no if your project might work for this use. Visit our website to learn more at www.bwreb.com. My passion:I am also working on marrying environmental / agricultural conservation with affordable housing via my nonprofit partner, The REED Center for Ecosystem Reintegration. The idea is to design & implement native, diverse, edible, medicinal (and of course beautifully floral) perennial landscaping at suburban and urban Affordable housing communities to reintegrate humanity with thriving natural ecosystems creating truly unique communities/spaces. We then want to use this hyperlocal food infrastructure (aka “victory gardens 2.0”) to the enhance the community through the educational programming of gardening, harvesting, cooking, composting, nutrition, and more… alongside annual garden beds for additional education and nutrition. I am looking for a regional Affordable housing developer/owner to set precedent by accomplishing this using existing incentives proving this idea can be both economically and ecologically successful enough to reproduce. For more information, scroll down on our About Us / Giving Back section of our website. If this MIGHT be of ANY interest to you at all, I would love to discuss. Thank you so much for your consideration. Please also visit The REED Center for Ecosystem Reintegration's website to learn more at thereedcenter.org
