As the Head of Solution Architecture for our BX product, I use my research background to help my team of 9 direct reports create packaging and pricing for BX research projects best suited to meet our customers’ needs. This role sits at the intersection of research expertise, sample strategy and design, and technical knowledge of the back end of Qualtrics survey programming and dashboarding capabilities. This is a heavy pre-sales role where I am constantly getting in front of customers to explain the benefits of our BX technology, run demos of our dashboards, craft winning proposals, and deliver BX expertise in support of our sales teams effort to help close key deals in our Corporate, Enterprise, Academic, Healthcare, and Financial Services businesses. I’ve also been involved in the creation and ownership of our streamlined pre-sales process, working with my team to develop tools (such as a pricing guide for each project) to shorten our sales timelines by 90%. Additionally, I spearheaded an initiative to create a tracking sheet that housed data on every BX research project Qualtrics has ever done, which now houses over 1,000 projects and is used by hundreds of internal team members to get insight into the health of our BX business. As part of managing our pipeline, I also have had a key responsibility of interfacing and leasing engagements with our external BX delivery partners. I also work with our product and engineering teams on advising on platform solutions to better meet our customer’s needs. With this intersection, I’m also increasingly responsible for a large part of our business planning, which includes capacity planning for headcount, managing our P/L statements and adjusting our business plan accordingly, and sitting on a Qualtrics promotion committee for 8 consecutive cycles. This role has been amazing to take advantage of all of the best skills I feel I possess, and I’ve loved elevating this team to new heights as well!

As a Senior Research Manager, I led a team of researchers doing custom research for some of Qualtrics’ biggest clients. While much of this was focused on brand research and brand health tracking, I also led a wide variety of research project types, including A&U, segmentation, message testing, concept testing, MaxDiff, conjoint, KANO, factor analysis. Responsible for managing a portfolio of over 90 ongoing brand tracking clients at one time and maintaining annual revenue of $1.5M-$2M. Part of the BX Tiger Team - a team of the top pre-sales individuals tasked with generating new BX business for the company on the most strategic deals. Was part of this team twice - once as the methodology lead and once as the solution architecture lead putting together packaging and pricing. Primary figure in working with Mavenlink, the project management software Qualtrics used for project tracking. Responsible for best practice implementation, using the data to make informed business decisions, and part of the team tasked with evaluating future project management software usage decisions.

At ASUG, I am involved with many facets of the marketing development process. In addition to handling all of the primary research responsibilities internally, I am also responsible for creating content through our partner promotion package. This includes sponsored survey research, creating white papers that promote thought leadership in the industry, and the dissemination of that information through webcasts shared with our members and other interested SAP users.I also handle the majority of our secondary research into key topics relevant to ASUG, and I am the first line of defense when establishing the marketing plan for new key internal initiatives, creating SWOT analyses, competitive landscapes, unique selling propositions, etc. I am also occasionally called on to present at our events on how ASUG's research goals can benefit our members.

At Datassential, I was responsible for helping manage custom research projects in the foodservice category from start to finish. This included project design, custom questionnaire building, field and panel management, report building and critical-thinking analysis, and presenting findings to key clients.I worked with some of the biggest names in the foodservice industry during my time here, including Kellogg's, General Mills, McCormick, Mars, Land O'Lakes, S&D Coffee & Tea, ConAgra and more. I also worked on a variety of study types, including segmentation, A&U, IDIs, Max Diff analysis, category landscape and ad tracking. Additionally, as a manager part of my job was training and developing junior staff.

Responsible for the implementation of research best practices and creative content for the purposes of distribution. Lead data analyst on advanced statistical analyses and marketing-mix modeling objectives.

Involved in each part of the research process from questionnaire design and implementation to the analysis and presentation of results. Also specialize in advanced statistical analyses for the purposes of validation of the Ameritest model.
