Hi! I'm Brian, a software engineer at Qualtrics.At Qualtrics, I work alongside other members of the Extended Integrations team to make contributions to XM Discover's call center voice-to-text pipeline.At Georgia State, I had the pleasure of engaging with organizations like the GSU Programming Club and Baptist Collegiate Ministries, taking 3 Computer Science courses taught by instructors who were deployed by Facebook's Engineer in Residence program, serving as a teacher's assistant the following semester for one of those courses, and designing a 2D platforming video game engine from scratch with JavaScript for a semester-long group project.My hobbies include programming, musical arranging and composition, piano, chess, video editing, and video games.As a junior in high school, I began solo development on a Discord bot designed to help organize e-sports tournaments hosted with the Challonge API. I experimented with a primitive version of the project for the first time in the summer of 2017, got back in the lab, and eventually hosted a series of 7 tournaments with the bot from December 2019 to April 2020 with an average of 30 participants. I halted development after April in anticipation of new features for the Discord API that were finally released in May 2021. I have since returned to development and aspire to deploy the bot for full-time use in the near future.I maintain a YouTube channel on which I share my various musical activities, including piano transcriptions, arrangements, and covers of some of my favorite tunes from video games.
