About Adam Singleton
Experienced System Team Lead with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. I have a wealth of "front line" experience working in retail stores, from this I have built a wide range of skills in customer service, stock management and control, health & safety/legal, team leadership and role modelling.I have used these skills in my later roles as a solid foundation to work as part of a team that provides central support for approx. 850 locations. During my role in central operations I have always focussed on doing my best for our colleagues in stores, taking ownership of issues escalated to me and working hard to ensure these are resolved quickly. My aim is to ultimately make the shopping experience for our customers the best it can be every time. As part of my role I regularly work cross functionality with various business functions including commercial, marketing and all areas of IT & technology.I have a good technical knowledge and I'm always working to expand this, I strive to learn more each day. I have experience working directly with IT teams and 3rd party suppliers covering support and development. I'm a logical thinker and have some experience in user acceptance testing which really helps me ensure I see the full picture. I have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications including using formulas in Excel. I also have basic knowledge of JIRA & Confluence, along with experience in using ServiceNow for incidents/changes logging and management.
