I'm an expert in creating new sales/marketing processes and in creating useful tools to aid selling. My unique background in the sciences and marketing/sales allows for connecting with cross-functional teams and customers in a manufacturing setting like few others can. My attention to detail and capacity for understanding complex issues that engineers, quality professionals, IT and software developers/programmers face translates to workable solutions that solve big problems and improve sales. The things I value most:• Adaptive management with data: Not everyone needs to know every line in a spreadsheet, but stakeholders need to understand what it all means, why it is important and how to modify processes when new data becomes available.• Data Accuracy: Conclusions drawn from incomplete or inaccurate data are only as good as the inputs - likely incomplete or inaccurate. Without a representative picture from the data, you are doing little more then guessing.• Appropriate conclusions from data: Statistics can be molded to say almost anything. To turn data into profit, one should strive to avoid making biased interpretations so that your decisions are based on reality rather than what you think is reality.• Understanding communication: Differences in how we define something often end up being the root cause of a problem or contribute to wasting time & resources between you and your customers. You must strive to identify and define each other's terminology and understand each way of thinking so that you can create unmistakable solutions.• Understanding where the river flows: The challenges faced by all stakeholders are important to a stellar ROI. Even minor tweaks to a process can have major impacts downstream that erode the return. One must understand the bends, breaks and forks in the river to be confident your decisions are improving the business.• Being taught and being a teacher: Great teachers inspire and everybody has something they are capable of inspiring in others. I foster a shared vision of where we are going in order to build a team together where we all at times teach, are taught and all inspire.
