Responsibilities- Planning and implementation of integrated water outcomes including strategic flood plain planning, flood mitigation, flood gauges, water quality, WSUD, stormwater harvesting within the water resources sector- Delivery of Council's Capital works program for stormwater - Leadership and oversight for the Flood Intelligence and Forecasting team during natural disasters- Member and leader of Ipswich LDCC and advisor on LDMG. Skills:- High level of knowledge and skill in applying WSUD and water cycle strategies and collaboration in multi-discipline spaces to lead best practice outcomes- Proven skills in water quality and water balance assessment and demonstrated project design and construction experience on stormwater harvesting and water quality design such as swales, wetlands and integrated water projects- High level of experience and application utilising Tuflow, XP Rafts, XP Storm and HEC-RAS - Some experience with RORB, WBNM, URBS, 12D and Drains- Established, proven, genuine qualified Project Management Skills Key Projects- Designed, project managed and supervised construction of two integrated water solutions incorporating sports fields, detention basins, wetlands, sediment basins, swales and harvesting systems in the pursuit of best practice water cycle outcomes- Delivered 11 new and 20 upgraded flood gauges across Ipswich City- Project managed and delivered designs of a 10 million dollar package of flood mitigation works including multiple detention basins, levees and culverts. - Completed modelling and mitigation scenarios of Mi Hi Creek using Tuflow direct rainfall model- Undertook an industry first 2D modelling of natural floodplain management techniques (woody debris, pile fields, floodplain revegetation)- Multiple examples of creating opportunity for sub regional solutions on developments for water quantity and quality included relevant modelling and SMP's

- Financial management including forecasting, monitoring, controlling and reporting on performance.- Managed projects through project management systems and utilising PMBOK methods- Delivered projects on time within budget and with a high level of customer satisfaction.- Identified risks and used risk mitigation strategies to deliver quality projects- Co-ordinated design and construction and led team members successfully on various projects - High knowledge of Australian Standard contract methods (AS2124 etc)Career Highlights:- Ability to use previous technical skills to provide a high quality and well managed output of all projects- Project Manager for critical multi million dollar regional stormwater flood and mitigation projects. - Reviewed engineering plans, documentation, calculations and standards for subdivisions and civil works- Undertake quality control inspections of civil infrastructure - Supervised and lead teams other Engineers, Cadets and Technical Officers- Review, development and input to extensive Stormwater Management Plans including Water Sensitive Urban Design and 2D models- Extensive level of knowledge of all required authority standards on large subdivisions up to 2000 lots

- Produced conceptual and detail design for roads, storm water sewerage and water - Undertook Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations- Determined materials and quantities to produce detailed cost estimatesProjects:- Design of reticulated and trunk sewer infrastructure for entire suburb of Camira.- Various stormwater designs for road projects
