Fully manage and maintain ~7,000 game servers for ARK: Survival Evolved & The Survival of the Fittest across PC, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Deploy new hardware to support our ever growing official game server network. with 9 maps. Liaise with third-party host providers for game updates and infrastructure upgrades and maintenance. Regularly utilize various AWS services to support our network of game servers. Schedule and perform game updates on our server network. Create and upgrade current tools used in our current infrastructure such as databases, deployment tools, game data backup/transfer tools, and reporting tools.

As an Assistant Community Manager I worked with the Community Managers to help information to be communicated to our community through social media, forums, and message boards. I worked closely with the Community Managers and staff of Studio Wildcard to convey information from within the community to those that are on the technical side of the company (QA Analysts and Network Engineers). I actively worked with our volunteer community in managing our forums, both SurviveTheArk.com and Steam, by engaging with our moderators (approximately 15).As an aside, I also handled all server outage reports and restored servers where possible. Restoring sometimes involved communicating with host providers or smaller issues such as relaunching a server and reverting save data.

As a Community Volunteer I worked as a head forum moderator who helped to train new moderators and pass on information to Studio Wildcard employees where appropriate. I also acted as a volunteer tester for new content releases and bugfixes.

Instructed an undergraduate lab on automatic identification and data capture. The class focused on AIDC technologies and I was in charge of 30 students as well as being a teaching assistant for the lecture of 50+ students.As part of working in the Center I collected data for various third party companies on different biometric systems, helped write a $22,000 grant which was successfully awarded and fulfilled, created and managed the database of biometric data, and designed test interfaces for data collection.

As an Undergraduate Researcher I worked with the database team in developing the "datasafe" to properly store all data collected from the lab. I also engaged with the software team in developing programs and tools that were used around the lab for different uses. Lastly I worked as a test admin for various tests that are run in the lab for data collection (biometric samples). Some of the tests included fingerprint testing as well as data collection for the Department of Homeland Security.

As a Senior Lab Assistant I provided secondary support to patrons and assisted Lab Assistants. Some roles that I partook in were providing support for Mac & PC users, compiling technical documents for staff wiki, training incoming staff, enforcing lab policies upon patrons and Lab Assistants, troubleshooting malfunctioning hardware or software, and assesses new employee applications for hire.

In the role of DLC Lab Assistant I assisted customers with digital video equipment, provided Mac & PC support, assessed returned equipment for checkout, and helped patrons with printing related questions.

As a Lab Assistant I maintained lab tidiness, refilled printers, and provided customer service to lab customers.

In my time as a webmaster for the Purdue University Chemistry Resource Room I renovated the entire website's design from the ground up to provide a much more clean and functional medium for students to find valuable information. I also maintained the website after completion and provided tech support for employees where possible.
