Oversees and ensures effective system-wide operations, activities, programming and services for 80+ Primary Care (Family and Internal Medicine) practices in 6 counties in the Central Pennsylvania Region comprising 380+ Physicians/APPs and 1000+ staff.

System-wide leadership of surgical and hospital-based practices with responsibility for the leadership, management, revenue cycle, and growth of more than fifty practices and hospital departments throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Practices are in Adams, York, Franklin, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties and support all seven of WellSpan Health’s acute care hospitals. Works closely with the Surgery, Orthopedics, and Women’s & Children’s Service Lines of WellSpan Health and includes the surgical specialties of General, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Plastics, Colo-rectal, Urogynecology, and Trauma. In addition, there is responsibility for hospital-based practices including Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, Palliative Care, Residency and Fellowship (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Dental, Sports Medicine, Surgery, OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine), and Anesthesiology. Women and Children Service Line responsibility includes OB/GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, and Midlife Health and Wellness. This position is supported by five direct reports (Operations Administrators) and more than twenty Practice Managers who manage over 300 physicians/APCs. Patient revenue exceeds $145 million annually.Oversees and ensures effective system-wide operations, activities, programming and services of designated WellSpan Medical Group Practices and WellSpan Health Hospital Based Clinics. Promotes and ensures physician practice satisfaction through sound operational, financial and human resource management. Ensures compliance with relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements and pursues the System’s quality goals, i.e., the medical care to be equitable, efficient, effective, safe and timely and satisfies our patients and communities. Provide leadership and direction to medical group specialty practices and hospital departments in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties (Cardiology, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Pathology, Emergency Department, Anesthesia).

Manage operations and activities for rehabilitation medicine department. Evaluate and improve performance of all levels of staff, ensure quality patient care and outcomes, maintain cost effectiveness of operations and delivery of the highest customer service for patients. Provide supervision for multiple sites across multiple functional service lines (orthopedics, neurology, women’s health, pediatrics).

Manage operations, control budget, and develop programs. Lead 20+ clinicians and support staff with professional and program development. Monitor and oversee facility operations for $5+M budget.

Facilitate development and expansion of in- and out-patient rehabilitation services. Oversaw resource management, process flow, and operational and system resources to enhance fiscal results. Excelled in all areas of business management and cost control.
