Served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in squad level leadership, tactics, techniques, and procedures. Instructed over 1,385 student Officers in multiple Squad and Platoon level field exercises. Performed over 6 hours of platform instruction to 1,800 student Officers, focusing on Urban Operations. Used justice and tact to prepare detailed reports regarding the evaluation of more than 60 student Officers. Assisted with the development, set up, and conduct of 12 Company level Urban Operations exercises, lasting 5 days each, in accordance with Marine Corps Base Quantico policies, procedures, and regulations. Supervised 12 Marines in the maintenance, operation, and employment of 4 Assault Amphibian Vehicles (AAVs) while serving as Section Leader. As Section Leader I was responsible for gathering facts and using analytical methods to assess difficult situations and determine an appropriate course of action. Instructed over 1,000 student Officers and 600 civilians of the capabilities, limitations, and employment considerations of the AAV Section. Responsible for the safe employment and operation of an AAV Section while conducting multiple day and night live fire ranges, dry runs, and range to range movements.
