One of the key (and vital) successes for this role was the successful completion and delivery of a communications plan for a major functional restructure, in which I lead Partner (employee) engagement through delivery of exceptional communications across a variety of channels.My role is Communications Manager for John Lewis HR. My job is to develop and implement the HR internal communications strategy to deliver understanding and engagement of Partners. - To plan, create and deliver creative, consistent, timely and coordinated HR communications, which support the overall John Lewis HR objectives. Manage the planning and delivery of key HR communication to create a clear and consistent message for the wider Partnership. Provide expertise and advice to Centres of Expertise across the Partnership in the communication style appropriate for JL audience to ensure all messages are in line with key priorities.

I am managing the co-ordination the production of the Partnership's learning intranet site (covering John Lewis, Waitrose, Corporate and Partnership Services divisions - 82,000 Partners in total).Involving website design, build and maintenance; stakeholder management (both internal and external) and project management.

Merchandising the Home assortments on johnlewis.com. Ensuring copy and image are correct and products are online and ready for customers to buy. Designed pages to create a seamless experience for customers, contributing to profit.

Planning, design and delivery of training for 9 New John Lewis branches.

Call Centre / Beauty Line Management (25 staff):Responsibility for Partners and their development, appraisals and ensuring they are fulfilling their potential and delivering results.Selling and Customer Service:Managed shop floor to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained and sales are made.Stock Management:Management and stock control responsibilities. Includes prestigious brands such as Milton Brown and Philosophy.
