Ensured the synchronization of key themes and messages across all media platforms.

Kabul, Afghanistan

Led three American Forces Network broadcast stations employing 38 journalists and engineers in Afghanistan. Responsible for all AFN television and radio operations in Afghanistan during a six-month deployment. Streamlined internal processes and improved training, resulting in a nearly 50 percent increase in content created.Implemented and enforced rigorous safety and preventative maintenance checks to ensure all equipment was functional and all personnel were prepared and safe.

Mannheim, Germany

Led by example and mentored an underperforming affiliate to Station of the Year in first year as Station Manager. Led a staff of 10 producers who develop and support strategic communications for three major military commands, European Command, Africa Command and United States Army Europe. Developed one of the most successful affiliate teams for command information and broadcast excellence. AFN Heidelberg won more than 60 broadcast awards in three years, more than any other affiliate in the Defense Media Activity.

Built a ground-up public affairs program for an organization of 1500 personnel responsible for all US Army logistic activities in Europe. Deployed for 15 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served as Senior Public Affairs Officer on a base occupied by more than 5000 service members. Hosted media from multiple outlets including People Magazine, Washington Post and many local American news outlets. Led team to produce and publish more than 150 print stories, radio/television products and photographs in dozens of US and international publications including CNN and multiple medium to large market newspapers.
