As the VET in Schools Coordinator, I am responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, support and compliance across all auspiced school programs. As the Education Manager, I am the primary point of contact and liaison for Program teachers and VET Coordinators in COSAMP’s auspiced ‘Member Schools’.Key Responsibilities- Conduct Term 1 and Term 4 online meetings- Provide and be responsive to ongoing Program teacher support- Conduct Assessment Validation / Moderation meetings (WA / SA / VIC)- Issue parchments to schools- Manage and coordinate Unit selection changes- Maintain Program Teacher profiles- Manage Teacher compliance and currency documentation- Conduct Annual Site visits to Member Schools (VIC/ WA / SA / TAS)- Manage My Account information where the annual verification process identifies information that requires updating- Assist the RTO Manager in continuously improving delivery and assessment materials

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES• Manage and provide leadership at staff and curriculum levels to address the Australian Curriculum, SACE and VET requirements for all Arts based subjects within the college. • Manage all administrative, human resource, financial and budgetary matters related to The Arts• Establish and strengthen relationships with Arts teachers, VET trainers, Hourly Paid Instructors and other external stakeholders to improve the delivery of Arts based subjects. • Provide professional learning opportunities, leading Arts staff to create Performance Development plans based on the National Professional Standards for Teachers.• Conduct reviews, audits and collect data that supports the continuous improvement cycle of Arts based subjects.• Coordinate, manage and implement the annual Arts event of Windsor Under the Stars, an event aimed to showcase the talents of Arts students across the college in all year levels, including VET Creative Industries (Media) Pathway.

VET ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Coordinate the delivery of all accredited VET in Schools (VETiS) programs delivered on secondary school campus. • Work in partnership with Registered Training Organisations (RTO) to negotiate and develop VETiS Memorandum of Understanding agreements. • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure that the VETiS programs being delivered are compliant with the VET Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards.• Manage and provide leadership at staff and curriculum levels to address the administrative, human resourcing, trainer timetable and curriculum development requirements for delivering accredited VET programs on school campus. • Provide assistance and support for students studying off campus, online and or involved in a School Based Apprenticeship / Traineeship.• Establish and build industry partnerships with external agencies and community links to strengthen VETiS programs and to promote work placement opportunities for students. • Assist school and students with prospective funding opportunities to support the delivery of VET programs. • Counsel students on realistic career options and subject choices, working closely with parents/caregivers to support student pathways planning.• Manage student CRN systems in relation to VET assessment • Be an active member of the school’s leadership and decision making team, promoting the school’s values and strategic plan, particularly related to the delivery of accredited vocational training on campus.
