In this position, I was responsible for the U.S. level instrumentation department at WIKA. This included product management, market pricing analysis, customer facing, and business sales planning. Working with our marketing group, I generated web content and increased our presence through search engine optimization. I functioned as a direct contact for target accounts such as end users, OEMs, and channel partners. I also worked as a coach for the inside and outside sales force. Collaboration with our subsidiary and leveraging capabilities was also an essential role in the organization.

Growing our existing client base and functioning as a resource for our sales force was a primary objective in 2016.

I provided solutions for level measurement. I calculated and advised customers the best level instrumentation based on their process conditions. This required industry knowledge of alloys and a focus on the manufacturability of products. In regards to production, I reviewed CAD drawings and coordinated with purchasing to maintain on time delivery. I also worked with customers on our subsidiary manufactured products as my location was their US distribution hub.

We decided to put our heads together and explore the possibility of a true back country cocktail. With a little science, ingredient sampling, and considerable volume of Bourbon, we created our first batch of what we now call the Leisuremann’s Cocktail Mix. We have done the work for you. I worked in the CAD/CAM scheduling department for the Houston division of Rolled Alloys metals, I worked with a software consulting service to create a proof of concept that would provide add-ons to the nesting software, thereby enabling programmers to nest more efficiently for the waterjet. And, in terms of management logistics, I was responsible for outsource work requiring coordination among scheduling due dates, quoting, nesting, and material conversion. These efforts, and leading the scheduling department to communicate with machinery operators, has led to an improvement of efficiency, productivity, and quality as may be demonstrated by a 5% reduction in scrap from April 2010 to present, resulting in corporate savings in both overhead and machinery operation.
