I engineer very large-scale data analytics pipelines and data products to support AUSTRAC's mission to disrupt criminal use of Australia's financial system.

Team lead of Data61’s Regulation as a Platform project. The project was a 2-year National Innovation Science Agenda (NISA) funded project aiming to create an open platform for downloading and executing legislation as logic, and to enable the regulation technology industry more broadly.

Technical lead on Data61's software activities as part of its role in the Bionic Vision Australia (BVA) consortium. BVA developed a retinal implant to restore vision to people with blindness from degenerative retinal diseases. Data61’s role was to provide vision processing algorithms and software for the device.BVA has since ceased operation and the technology is being commercialised by Bionic Vision Technologies, www.bionicvis.com.This role spanned all my previous time at NICTA. Data61 was formed in 2016 by the merger of NICTA and CISRO's Digital Productivity Business Unit.

I developed image and video processing algorithms for Canon products, in particular video analytics algorithms for IP video surveillance cameras.
