I am a strategic communication and development expert with over 6 years of multi-sectoral work experience, particularly in agriculture, media, science/technology, health and education. I am Strategy Lead at Leverage Stream Ltd where I consult for and help individuals, corporate organizations and governmental institutions with management and development strategies, corporate communication, public and media relations, content development and technical writing, corporate events facilitation and program management. I am a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, a brand experience and management alumnus of Orange Academy; Africa's first Institute of Integrated Brand Experience and a post-graduate student in Governance, Development and Public Policy at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, England. Prior to this time, I have worked with several media organizations as a journalist, editor and knowledge manager. I also have experience in corporate communication with the private sector and I have played advisory, development and communication support roles for the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), the Federal Science Equipment Centre (Federal Ministry of Education) and international development organizations such as IFAD-VCDP, GIZ, EU-Nigeria Business Forum, Technoserve etc. I was second runner-up at the 2016 ADVAN (Advertisers' Association of Nigeria) Awards for Marketing Excellence, where I received the 'Future Leader of Marketing Award'. I also have certifications in Social Media Strategy from AfriNolly Creative Hub and in Agriculture Research from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Elsevier Foundation. I am a member of Toastmasters International, a US-headquartered nonprofit public speaking, leadership, and communication club. I also own a social impact organization called Create the Future (CTF) Initiative. CTF provides support around education, economic and personal development for children and teenagers in rural areas.
