This casual role at New College, UNSW involves assisting in duties related to New College events, mainly being the official photographer for all the formal and informal events.

Key duties include:- Providing pastoral care to 250+ residents living at New College who are moving out of home for the first time and actively work for the welfare of these residents and try to identify those who are having medical, emotional, academic, or other problems.- Carrying out administrative duties under the Assistant Dean's coordination and also assisting the Academic Tutors in the event of a first aid emergency, transport to hospital, serious incident, direct support of residents in isolation due to COVID risks, or any other situation where the Tutor needs assistance.- Other duties include reporting to the Dean and the Master in case of any major issues related to any resident or building facilities, attending weekly meetings, performing duties at social events and sports, andbeing informed of the academic progress and general well-being of students in my immediate groups.
