The Gathering Place is a community-based student leadership development organization that has served the youth of the southeast since 1981. Annually, The Gathering Place reaches thousands of Middle School, High School, and College age students through a variety of programs such as mentor groups, large outreach events, and internships. The ministry of The Gathering Place works towards unity within diversity and unites churches, para-church ministries, schools and other community groups around one cause: to raise up strong leaders who will have an impact on their communities and the world.June 1st, 2018 was four years in the making. That day is significant because it marks the launch of The Gathering Place in Thomasville, GA, the first expansion site of The Gathering Place!
