Working in the Materials and Processes team - current projects involving the ExoMars Rover and Biomass. Prime level responsible for the Biomass spacecraft, working closely with suppliers to review their processes to ensure quality is maintained. Also liaising closely with Product Assurance and M&P counterparts at ESA to develop a unified priorities schedule to keep the project on time. Responsible for dealing with non-conformances and deviations to specifications from suppliers. Taking the lead in customer-facing meetings to provide Materials and Processes inputs and solutions.Developing creative and innovative R&T topics to gain a performance advantage using new materials. Researching and testing new sustainable materials and processes compliant with REACH regulation (hexavalent chromium replacement) Devising new ways of working to help reduce the paperwork loading on Engineers.
