This increasing number of years experience has reached an anniversary this year, 44 years! in the construction industry. I have a broad & very varied experience working on projects for both UK and overseas clients. Starting in '77 working in the water industry involving water treatment plants & drainage designs and then moved into structural engineering designing heavy water retaining structures and storage facilities. From a variety of commercial and retail projects, I have gained a wealth of experience dealing with numerous problems associated with developing difficult sites, such as deep basements, shallow mine workings and diverting canals.More old mills & historic buildings are creeping into my current work load + repair & refurbishment of old structures. I get into a lot of roof spaces and basements these days!I have been involved in numerous wide-ranging projects from small residential developments to large multi-storey high rise buildings and individual medical centres to large modern multi-practice buildings. More recent projects include new and alterations to Data Centre buildings. Other projects include large retail developments, educational and schools refurbishments, hotel alterations, multi-storey offices, industrial buildings, sport and leisure facilities, structural investigations, remedial work and reports on a variety of projects and structures.Specialities: All types of building structures.Using software to benefit my working & personal life.AutoCAD to 2017 & AutoLISP to create my own utilites to save time when working up drawings.REVIT BDS 2017 and all that 3D building modelling brings & slowly forgetting ACAD ;-) Parametric families, Detail Items and Schedules for RevitCreating amazing technical spreadsheets to the tedium out of day to day calculations.
