I am a graduating senior (Spring 24) studying Environmental Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. I am currently working at L'Oreal in the Environmental Health & Safety department. My role includes demonstrating independent understanding and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) including Data Integrity and Good Documentation Practices. I prepare technical reports and safety training documents. Further, I engage with multiple teams across different departments to provide EHS support. I am conducting an ISO Pre-Audit containing a safety walkthrough and verifying employee competency. I am learning and being trained in ISO Standards: 50001, 45001, 14001, 22716,9001. In my role, I have been exposed to various software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and CapCut. I am in a leadership position in my Engineering Organization with over 50 active members. Also, I'm a mentor for middle and high school students in which our goal is to empower young men of color. I am familiar with MATLAB and Python but, I am eager to be uncomfortable in new spaces to better myself and my future career.
