Wink AS is a tech startup in the restaurant business, providing a digital solution for ordering food and paying on your phone. My role is that of a full stack developer with a huge specter of tasks. We have remote teams of developers and salesmen where I have taken the role as one who makes sure that we keep track of progress, finalize products within deadlines, that we communicate clearly and that we collectively understand problems our customers face. I have developed an interest and understanding of ideation and development of the product itself, resulting in a role central to conceptualizing, evaluating, managing and developing new projects. I was part of the data team, responsible for exploring new ways of providing correct content in the right context to our 30 million monthly users. In addition to providing data insights through analysis and experimentation within the data team and to other organs of the company. Assisting Wago at their automation support by answering calls and emails from customers with questions regarding general PLC-programming and varying problems. This could be everything from configuration help to errors shown from compiling a program. On the side of this a physical demo to be used by Wago at fares was to be made. With help, i was part of creating a system showing different Wago products such as a PLC, power-supply and fuses. The system was designed to look as simple as possible in order to show customers how easy it is to use Wago-products and to make an intuitive and useful corresponding visualization.
