I currently work as an occupational therapy assistant in a skilled nursing facility. I interact with the short- and long-term residents within the geriatric population to increase their independence with self-care tasks. A few of the skills I've acquired while doing this is time management, increased computer and typing skills, patience, and empathy. Some of the things that drive me personally, are helping others in any way that I can, educating on healthy ways to increase happiness and life, and volunteering any free time that I have towards a good cause.
